Artist-run Collective Seed & Supply Co. opened April 2018. This quirky general store and garden center has since evolved into a beloved downtown go-to for high quality plants, specialty groceries, hard-to-find craft beers, punny greeting cards, unique home goods, and more! Collective Seed takes pride in supporting local farmers and makers — they sell local, certified-humane beef and pork, fresh produce from Happy Foods Project and other local farmers, and feature popular local brands like Sweet Magnolia Gelato and Delta Dairy. 

Coahoma Collective leases the property at 145 Delta Ave. to Collective Seed, and provided a start-up loan for inventory purchases. Collective Seed & Supply Co. occupies the first floor of the property; the second floor is home to artists in residence who work about 25 hours each week between the store and its sister business, Travelers Hotel. Artists in residence spend the balance of their time finding creative and meaningful ways to make Clarksdale a better place for all its residents.
